FAYE HESS Bio

Faye Hess has been working as a chef for the past 14 years. She began her cooking career in the demanding field of film and television production in New York City, cooking for Bill Cosby, Shirley McClaine, Yoko Ono, and many others. In the following years she focused on fine dining affairs for private clients. Faye was the producer and writer of "In the Kitchen" for WBAI in New York, for a number of years before opening the Long Island City Brick Co. Cafe in Queens.

Twelve years ago, Faye started to travel back and forth to Italy, and fell in love with the understated cuisine and lifestyle of Umbria and Tuscany. She now travels between New York and Italy to teach and cook and writes for her blog, FAYEFOOD, daily.
